Maintenance

We have THREE levels of service available.

LEVEL 1 - Oil & Filter Change

This is the minimum service recommended on a yearly or mileage basis.Generally at every 10.000km or at 1 year from the last service (whichever arrives first) it is recommended to change at least the oil and oil filter to ensure the engine can function correctly.

LEVEL 2 - Basic Service

Includes an oil and filter change as above but also includes the following:

• Air filter clean / replacement
• Fuel filter (when required)
• Pollen / Air-con Filter
• Front & Rear brake pads – check and replace if necessary.
• Front & Rear brake discs / shoes – check and advise customer if replacement required.
• Check and top up liquid levels (windscreen washer / antifreeze / hydraulic fluid etc).
• Check and adjust tyre pressures.
• Windscreen wiper blades – check and replace if necessary.

LEVEL 3 - Extensive service

Includes everything in levels 1 and 2 and also includes checks of:

• Spark-plugs
• Gear box oil
• Steering Rack Boots
• CV Boots
• Suspension Ball Joints
• Steering Rack Ball Joints
• Silent Blocks and Engine Mounts
• Fan Belt
• Lights (if any fail, level adjustment etc)
• Tyre conditions

Quotation BEFORE repair!

In all of the level 3 checks, if anything is faulty or in need of work, a quotation will be provided prior to repair.

Mechanical Diagnostic and Repair

When it comes to the mechanics of a car, there’s nothing better than the mixture of state-of-the-art technology and a good mechanic who knows the best way to do things for you and for your car.

Your mind can rest knowing that any problem that you detect in your car can be quickly and accurately diagnosed by our specially trained mechanics. Trained in the latest diagnosis equipment and techniques, generally our diagnoses are spot on every time… and so are our quotations!

Whether it’s an exhaust pipe, a broken water pipe, a clutch that needs changing or even a blown head gasket, you can rest assured that not only will you have the best mechanics working on the problem, but also the best parts used too.

Patent parts

There has been much speculation over the past as to whether it’s best to go for original parts or patent parts, and if you use patent parts, what are the best brands to use in order to keep the car in top condition? Our mechanics know the various brands (original and not) and can give you informed advice as to what is best for your car. Feel free to ask us anything you need to know!

Whilst waiting for your car to be repaired, you are more than welcome to take full advantage of our waiting room, with TV, magazines and sofas.

 

Tyres

Supplying tyres is a side of Servicio Rapido that has certainly given us a great name for quality and value.

With hundreds of tyres in stock we’re almost guaranteed to have tyres in your size, and if not we can get them WITHIN 24 HOURS!*

We have stock in all of the major brands, such as Michelin, Pirelli, Bridgestone, etc. but our exclusivity in the area with the GT Radial brand has given us great prices with which to compete with the best known tyre specialists in the area!

Tyres are a huge component of the safety of your car and this is why we take our responsibility as a provider of tyres SERIOUSLY. Hence, we will only provide you with QUALITY products and we NEVER deal in retreaded tyres.

All prices quoted include fitting, new valves, balancing and IVA.

Tracking is not included but is available should you require it. Please consult with our mechanics who can confirm if you require this service.

Please have your "Ficha Tecnica" or your full tyre size ready. If you’re not sure of your tyre size, please feel free to drop into our workshop and we can check your tyre size for you.

* Applies to orders placed before 4.30pm, and will be delivered the next working day. Orders placed after 4.30pm will be available after 48hrs (or 2 working days).

 

Insurance Repairs

It’s everyone’s nightmare, first your car suffers damage due to someone else’s driving and now you have to do the footwork yourself, getting the loss adjuster out, arranging where you can take the car for repairs, do you need to pay upfront? All in Spanish too!

Don’t worry, all you need to do now is call your insurance company and tell them you’re our customer and we’ll take care of the rest for you.

We’ll stay in touch with the loss adjuster and advise you when the repairs can take place…We’ll check if there’s any excess to pay…We’ll sort out any problems…We’ll act as translators between you and your insurance company as and when needed…You just leave the car with us and pick it up good as new!]

Air Conditioning

Air conditioning is an essential accessory in cars here on the Mediterranean Coast of Spain. However it can be quite often neglected during the winter months, and therefore require repair when the warmer weather hits.

To ensure that your aircon compressor stays in good working order all year round, we recommend that you put the aircon on at least once a month all through the year, to help the oil inside the system keep everything lubricated.

Sometimes you will find the air isn’t as cold as it should be, this can mean that you need a regas, and we can help you with that.

While you have a coffee, or take a seat in our waiting room with a magazine or watching the TV, we can regas your aircon system. If required, we can also employ the latest leak detecting technology, using a special dye to allow us to see exactly where your system is leaking the next time you come

We can supply and fit all parts of the aircon system for you. Feel free to ask for an appointment to confirm the parts required and obtain a quotation.

Other services

In the spirit of being your one-stop-shop for all of your vehicular needs, we can also act as mediators between you and outside services.

You only need to deliver your car to us with a list of what needs doing and WE will do the foot work for you!
